POSITION WITHIN THE PORT AREA OF ARENZANO (Genova)

The
Diving Center is located directly inside the area of the touristic
port of Arenzano, some 10 Km west of Genova: from the motorway
Genova-Ventimiglia you just need to leave at the first exit, after
the ldeviation between the directions to Livorno and Ventimiglia.
After about 3 Km downwards and a large runabout you will directly
see a curve on the promenade: here is the port gateway on your

Once inside the harbour area just proceed straight ahead,
until you will find the last building corner on your right side
(about 200 m): here you will find the diving center at the N.
24: it is located in the last part of the buildings chain. At
the little touristic harbour of Arenzano you are not allowed
to park inside the area as guest, but you can shortly stop for
your operations at the diving base: then you can easily park
immediately outside the area, just 20 m in front of the entrance. |
| TECHDIVE
in Arenzano is currently the only diving center that can provide
to technical divers mixed gas filling on site for the HAVEN diving
sessions (Trimix, Nitrox, Argon, Oxygen). All this, together with
the whole technical support, hardware and the long lasting experience
needed for providing assistance under all the international safety
standards. TECHDIVE is authorized Training Center for CCR Rebreathers. |

The area facing the diving center are the moorings of the boat:
not more than 20 m from the center entrance. |
THE
DIVING CENTER
The base currently owns all the complete basic and advanced
equipment which is needed for providing full assistance to recreational
and technical dives:
- large
dressing room, 2 warm showers, toilette and independent heating system,
- 2 COLTRI SUPERSILENT compressors (60 Db @ 1 m distance) with a overall
power of 30.000 Lit/h.,with a max filling pressure of 300 bar.
- 1 Gas mixing station at low pressure, MPS
T-MIX Trimix/Nitrox provided with Helium analyzer in consolle,
- about 70 numbered cylinders, of 15/18 L. capacity, together with
many twins 10+10 L. and some stage bottles.

The Center can provide all Trimix fillings even for 2 dives
per day and can provide assistance for REBREATHER divers.

SECURITY
All equipment parts of the diving group can be stashed in
the center's rooms.
The port entrance,
with automatic barrel blocking, is always guarded by the local security
crew.
BOAT
A 8,50 m long raft, built and designed for TECHDIVE, equipped with
a Diesel inner engine.
This boat allows a comfortable and short trip to the HAVEN diving
site in about 7 mins: max speed is about 36 knots.
Places: up to 12 technical divers completely
equipped, or up to 18 recreational divers.

DECO
STATION
The
configuration of the Deco station is built up in accordance with the
diving profile and is provided with 3 steel bars, current and leading
line.

The
deco station can be equipped with different cylinders. The
deco station is connected to the main descent line, as for
every other wreck. The
names have to be striked off one by one by every single
group member |

DIVES
REGULATIONS
All
dives performed with TECHDIVE may only take place within the certified
depth limits:
there will be made no ecception whatsoever to the admission of uncertified
divers (friendly references by buddies, personal
assurance about uncertified dive experience
without any certification can not be accepted for admission).

For dives on the wreck
HAVEN it is required 1 DIVE GUIDE EACH
3 DIVERS.
This in accordance with the ordinance
of the Coast Guard N. 305/99.
All groups, after having been signed in the participants daily dive
list at the diving center, are automatically covered by DAN during
the whole stay and dive sessions.
HOW TO BECOME A CERTIFIED DIVE GUIDE:
To
this purpose you simply need to be signed as such at the Regional
Buero of Ligury in Genova.
You will need to alert the diving center with reasonable advance (at
least 1 month from arrival) about this option for getting help and
information about the procedure.

DIVES
PRICES
The prices for RECREATIONAL and
for TECHNICAL dives at TECHDIVE are calculated according to the
related Runtime:
| Up to 60 mins. | 40,00 € |
| From 60 to 120 mins. | 65,00 € |
| From 120 to 180 mins. | 85,00 € |
This price does not include GAS FILLING and DIVE GUIDES.
GAS
FILLING:
Helium @ 18,00 € per Cubic meter.
The cost for any mixed gas filling and additional cylinders to be
attached at the deco station is calculated on the base of the needed
cubic meters.
To Clubs, Associations and Diving schools TECHDIVE makes available
its boat at a forfait tarif.
This tarif refers to the overall dive time and has to be previously
agreed.
This solution fits also all those groups that for logistical purposes
or wish do not want to share the boat with other groups.
TECHDIVE also offers to Clubs, diving schools and associations the possibility to book in exclusive availability the whole center and/or the boat (Formula "all inclusive"). To get this service you simply need to contact the diving with reasonable advance for agreement.

BOOKING
THE DIVES
After transmission of main information by Email or Fax, the
group fills the Booking
Sheet and sends it to the TECHDIVE.
On the base of this information a tailor made offer can be sent by
Email or Fax.
For complex offers it is required, in some cases, to accept the offer
by also returning it undersigned by the referent person of the group,
once all details have already been cleared and agreed.
The group commits itself also to respect the arrival time, where possible,
ot to communicate its delay with sufficient advance (a mobile number
of the referent person is highly appreciated!).

All communications and the news regarding logistics and organizational
aspects of the dive trip can be directly addressed to TECHDIVE.
